Continental Currency
April 11, 1778 Yorktown Issue Four Dollars Continental
Continental Congress. April 11, 1778. Yorktown Issue. Genuine. Four Dollars. Fine.
This popular Yorktown issue Continental note is very well centered on the face. There is some central surface rub causing a patch of roughness just to the left of the "Boar Charging a Spear" vignette, plus a restored .5" portion to the lower left corner tip. Both signatures and the serial number are very clear and attractive for the grade. The reverse approaches VF in quality and has a nice overall appearance. Ex: Hoober.
