North Carolina. Lot of Two Notes. Both April 4, 1748. Twenty Shillings. "Unicorn" Vignettes. Both Sewn & Backed, Fine.
Both notes have been contemporarily backed and attached with stitching around the peripheries and across the central area. The first is full and complete, having black text and a vibrant vignette at the lower left, with three signatures and the serial number present. The other note has typical notations, a heavy splitting centerfold and otherwise has complete text and overall appearance. Lot sold "as is." (2 notes)
