Treasury of Virginia. October 20, 1777. One Sixth of a Dollar. About Extremely Fine.
This note has heavy, deep rich black bold print and is well centered, which adds eye appeal. The red serial number and signature are very faded and light, but present. The reverse is free of detractions, which some soiling and the upper left corner outer selvage is nibbed. Ex: EAHA Auction, April 26, 1997, Lot 337, where it sold for $290.
