1915, Set of Bronze Railroad Medals Awarded to the Queen & Crescent Route, Choice Uncirculated.
Each medal is 2.75" in diameter. Set is a "Replica of the E.H. Harriman Gold Medal Awarded to Queen and Crescent Route (The Cincinnati, New Orleans & Texas Pacific Railway Co.) by The American Museum of Safety for The Utmost Progess in Safety and Accident Prevention During the Year 1915." The first medal features a bust of E.H. Harriman and the second features a bust of a railroad worker. The medal set is still housed in it's original 5" x 8.5" x 1.5" box, with a purple felt liner. The original box shows signs of wear, but the medals themselves are not affected. (2 medals).
