1893, Autograph Document Signed "Nathaniel P. Banks", one page, 8" x 10", Extremely Fine. Here, Banks signs his name to a blue lined page titled, in Banks' hand, "Autographs of the Electoral College of Massachusetts 1893" together with fourteen of his fellow electors.
Banks and his fellow Republican electors cast their votes for Benjamin Harrison, who ran against Democrat Grover Cleveland and the Populist, James Weaver. Harrison fell short, only receiving 145 electoral votes against Cleveland's 277.
