This is an original CDV albumen image of the seated poet and orator, boldly Signed, "William Cullen Bryant" in the lower margin, Choice Very Fine. An imprint on the reverse reads, "Rockwood - Photographer. 839 Broadway N.Y." and overall measures 3-7/8" x 2-3/8", having a nice appearance with only some minor soiling. A very scarce Autographed CDV photograph.
