GERALD FORD & JIMMY CARTER.
This is a fine pair of Autopen Signed engravings of the White House, by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, likely mailed as Christmas greetings, Choice Extremely Fine. One is autopen signed by Ford and the other autopen by Jimmy Carter, each signature just below the image in black felt tip pen. The example signed by Carter is pristine, while the one signed by Ford bears some light toning away from signature and image. Offered together with three unsigned holiday cards including a lovely 1939, 3.25" x 3.75" card from Franklin D. and Eleanor Roosevelt, with the original envelope bearing the White House seal; a 6.75" x 5.75" 1962 card from the Kennedys; and a 7" x 5" color card from the Fords, with a wonderful photo by Susan Ford showing Betty and Gerald Ford, each with a litter of puppies at their feet.
