An outstanding quality, Partially Printed Document Signed, "Wm Taft" as President, on vellum, being an ornate Naval military commission, Choice About Mint. It measures 15.5" x 19" and has never been previously folded. The "Wm. Taft" signature is magnificent in and of itself. It is boldly written in vivid, rich violet ink and measures a huge 3.25" across. The document is exceptionally clean and fresh with the signatures in colorful ink highlighted against the white vellum. The purple seal at bottom is fully intact and bold in color.
