June 1, 1780, Revolutionary War, State of Connecticut Pay Orders, For Military Service in the Continental Army, Lot of 12, all Gem Crisp Uncirculated.
This group of original, pristine, partially printed, 3.75" x 8" Revolutionary War Pay Orders were payable to soldiers who "served in the Connecticut Line of the Continental Army." Cataloged by William Anderson as CT-18, these fiscal documents are signed by Peter Colt, the grandfather of gunmaker Samuel Colt. (12 items)
