This popular 1860 Lincoln & Johnson Gault Frame Ferrotype variety measures 25 mm in diameter, and features a most distinctive decorative and highly patriotic brilliant brass frame. The Lincoln image is very dark yet visible, with a couple of small flakes. The reverse is excellent aside from one surface dimple above Johnson's head, and the original attachment pin is still intact. A very scarce, highly important Lincoln Presidential Campaign Medal & Ferrotype, which is listed and described in all of the major references for Encased Postage Stamps as well as Political.
