Scarce Cleveland Inaugural Ball Commemorative Card

March 4, 1885, Cleveland & Hendricks, Inaugural Ball Commemorative Card, Choice Very Fine.
Scarce. Inscribed at top is INAUGURATION BALL. Printed in black intaglio on a heavy white card stock, this 7" x 9.5" commemorative card was printed by V.G. Fischer of Washington, D.C. At the bottom center are oval portraits of Cleveland and Hendricks flanked by flags and floral sprays. Below the portraits is inscribed: MARCH 4TH 1885 - COMMEMORATIVE OF THE INAUGURATION OF- facsimile signatures of GROVER CLEVELAND and T.A. HENDRICKS - PRESIDENT VICE PRESIDENT. OF THE UNITED STATES. To either side is a listing of the officers and members of the General Committee. Above the portraits is a standing allegorical figure of Columbia and at her feet are female figures of Education and Science.
