Rare "Republican Institution" Stock Certificate Signed by "Henry Dearborn"
December 1, 1821, "A Republican Institution Stock Certificate," Printed by True & Green, Suffolk County, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Extremely Fine.
This partly printed Document is Signed, "H. Dearborn", as president of the Republican Institution. It measures 8" x 9.75" is numbered 299 for one share, has an engraved heraldic eagle and a wafer paper seal and aqua ribbon along the left side. Document has very light toning and stains. This is an interesting and very rare stock certificate related to a political organization, signed by a famous, former Revolutionary War general!
