This attractive green and black printed Stock Certificate is Signed, "EH Harriman", as trustee on the back of Preferred Stock Certificate No. 10311. Document measures 7.5" x 11.5", and has a superb engraved image of a locomotive at top left. This a rare, valuable personal stock certificate is boldly signed by the railroad magnate Edward H. Harriman himself on the reverse. (According to the current Sanders Autograph Price Guide, a Document Signed by Harriman lists for a value of $900.)
Edward Henry Harriman (1848-1909) was a ruthless American capitalist who spared neither friend nor foe if they blocked his business plans.
