30 Million Year Old Fossilized Camel Skull, Nebraska.
This virtually complete skull measures 8"x 2.5"x 3.5" and is positioned on the stone matrix as found in Nebraska. Only the front teeth have been restored. This small camel, Poebrotherium, originated in North America over 30 million years ago. It would have stood about 30 inches tall and was built for speed with longer hind legs than fore legs. It is very rare to find a specimen so complete.
