Rare Mammoth Tusk
Curved Juvenile Mammoth Tusk found in the Taymyr Peninsula of Siberia.
This 29.5"-long mammoth tusk is dark-brown in color, with different shades of brown blending together to give it a striking appearance. These stunning colors resulted from the original white ivory being mineralized over thousands of years with minerals such as vivianite and iron phosphate. The fossilized ivory has been polished to preserve it and add to the beauty. Overall, it is a rare find, worthy of display!
