$1 1854 NGC PR 64 Ex Richmond Collection

This is a completely original coin. Both sides have tremendous flash. The mirrors are clean, clear, and deep. Only under really strong magnification can you detect a few wispy light lines (on the reverse). A rich later of moderate golden brown swirls over the surfaces and does have some toning spots in areas. Miss Liberty and the details are super sharp in strike and do have a thick creamy white frosting. We do think this coin does indeed border on full cameo status. Only 50 pieces were minted. PCGS 1, NGC 7. The current CU Value is $27,000.00. The last auction record for one is: 11/04 David Lawrence, $27,600.00 (this coin-which has bee off the market since then).
