Late 19th/early 20th century, ormolu and Griotte de Campan rouge marble three piece garniture comprising a mantel clock with circular gilt dial with Roman chapters within a ribbon wreath, the movement with ''Medaille d'Argent 1858 / Vincent'' pastille and further marked ''A. 1 / 232'', surmounted by a rectangular cornice decorated with paterae, flanked by cabriole supports, on a stepped plinth base with scroll feet and a pair of urns with flared rims and tapering bodies with anthemia scroll handles, on a similar base, 3 pcs, the clock, 17.5'' H x 11'' W x 5.25'' D, est:$1500/2000
Condition report
The urns: 13.75 x 5.5 x 4.5''. Generally good condition overall. General marks, nicks and scratches commensurate with age and use. Minor scattered chipped losses to marble elements. One urn cracked in half and well-repaired, with areas of well-matched infill. Mounts embellished and/or some re-gilt. With varying quality to casting and gilding. One key. Movement appears original and intact. Working condition of clock is unknown and not guaranteed.
