Late 19th century, coin operated, the walnut cabinet with pierced pediment above an arched glazed door enclosing musical mechanism, playing 21.25'' disk on 8.25'' combs, with 10 bells, lacking lower disk storage cabinet, with 12 disks including ''Romanian song'', ''Tyrolese song'', ''Soldiers of the Queen'', ''Soldiers in the Park'', ''The Blue Danube'', ''Li Ti Ti Rheinlander'', ''Der Findling'', ''J'adore la puissance de l'amour'', ''Das treue deutsche Herz'', ''Marche March'', ''Charinthian march'' and one un-identified disk, 13 pcs, the cabinet, 54.5'' H x 28'' W x 17'' D, est:$2000/4000. Provenance: Property from a Private Collection, Temple City, CA.

Condition report

General marks, nicks, scratches, rubbing, wear and fading to case overall. Visible old woodworm. Top arched element to crest possibly replaced. Lacking original lower disk storage cabinet. Apparently in working order. Disks oxidized and with spotting, bending and some breakage to pierced edge.
