A Mettlach stoneware tavern punch service

Early 20th century, the punchbowl with castle and further marked ''Ges. Gesch. / Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. / Made in Germany / 2339 / 20 10'', the tray marked with model number ''3032'', comprising a covered punch bowl (16 x 16 x 11.5''), 12 cups (2 x 3.75 x 3'') and a circular fitted tray (20.5''), decorated with tavern scenes depicting musicians, fruit and dancing vegetables, 14 pcs, , est:$1200/1800. Provenance: With a handwritten note that the service was acquired in 1908, thence by descent to the present family member.

Condition report

Good condition overall. Cups not marked. General light marks and scratches overall. With some spotty staining to interior of punch bowl. Colors rich. Interior of one cup stained.
