Civil War letter from a Union soldier that was sent to the Invalid Corps from West Philadelphia, September 24th, 1863. Written by J. Boxworth telling a friend about the new regiment for injured soldiers. Held in a 17" x 14" frame with letter, envelope, and plaque.
