Genuine 1888 $20 Liberty. Lady Liberty Crowned with Liberty emblazoned on a field of thirteen stars representing the original colonies. The reverse vignette with the Symbol of America Eagle - wings spread, a ribbon with "E Pluribus Unum" surrounds the protective shield which covers the eagles breast. Overhead are the thirteen stars of our founding colonies encircling "In God We Trust". In the eagles right talons are the symbolic arrows of military strength while the right hold the olive branch of peace. Enjoined by the words"UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" Twenty Dollars. This coin was minted by the mother mint in Philadelphia in 1888.
