CONDITION: Plate 3-F, Type IV, Pos. 4, neat red Honolulu circular datestamp, large to huge margins all around, thins GRADE: Extremely Fine COMMENTS: Purchased by the collector at Siegel sale 457 on Sept. 19, 1974 (lot 50), where he purchased many of his Hawaiian stamps. As an indication of rarity, the Honolulu Advertiser collection contained only two examples of the "NTER" variety, while the Pietsch and Twigg Smith collections contained the same example (Pietsch also had an enigmatic example from Position 7 on Plate 3-E).
