Recovered from the Spanish Treasure Ship, the Atocha, we present a "Four Section Solid Silver Salt Cellar". Approx. 12" tall. Three of the feet from the bottom section are dectached but present. Approx. 2505 grams. This piece has been in a private collection since 1986, and recovered in 1985. Piece is Silver Gilt (Gold Over Solid Silver). Considering is spent 363 years in tropical ocean waters, the item is in excellent condition and beautifully detailed throughout. Some scuffing and scratches, gilt loss, and some chipped areas. 4444.440 Points
