1955 Oldsmobile Super 88 A car is original only once! And this 53 year old Oldsmobile Super 88 is all original, even the paint. This gal has 44,300 original miles on her. I can't document this other than through conversations with previous owners and most of all, the condition of the car. The condition is simply amazing. The car is clean as a whistle. The interior is as close to show room new as a car can get without being actually showroom new. The interior is as good as the photos show ... actually better. The car came out of Colorado and is solid as a rock. This car is truly of an unadulterated example of a survivor. I am the third owner. The first was an older woman who owned it for 52 years, a man who owned it for 1 year and now myself. Mechanically, this car starts on a dime, runs extremely well and drives perfectly. This car obviously has always been garage kept and well maintained.. The paint is original to the car and is not perfect as a result of stone chips and some very minor scratches. There are no dents in body. The chrome is near perfect. Absolutely NO pitting anywhere! All electrical systems work as designed. I must emphasize the car is all original (except tires). Buy this car with confidence and show it as is. A little unusual but this is a special car that represents itself better in person than in photos. If you like the car in the photos, you'll love her in person! There are many restorations ... some good, some average. Why settle for a restored car that is "close as possible to original" ...
