Acknowledges the promotion of the nobleman, Macief Frankowski, to the modern day rank of Captain of the army; royal seal affixed to notarize the king's signature; framed. S.A. Poniatowski was the last king of Poland.

As viewed under room light in the unopened frame: document has been folded and has some pinholes and small tears developing along the folds; foxing and some very noticeable staining (including water staining); some bleeding/loss of the ink; floated in the frame but has staple holes in the corners and tears, pinholes and losses along and near the edges; top part of the document has been folded under.
