SIGNED FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT PHOTOGRAPH

Superb signed FDR photograph, Burn and Stoller, NY photographer imprint. Measures 10" X 12 3/4". Excellent save for a light toned area at the very top right corner. Overall a wonderful example, and an unusual pose of Roosevelt. This photograph comes from the Robert and Isabel McGaughey estate in New York. Robert worked for FDR, and his mother Sarah Roosevelt from 1922-1945 as a care taker to the Roosevelt Hyde Park estate. He later worked at the Roosevelt and Vanderbilt historic sites Hyde Park, NY. His wife, Isabel, was a personal maid to Sarah Roosevelt from 1929-1937. A great image.
