Important folk art portraits by John Brewster Jr. This pair of portraits were consigned from a local Windsor family and have descended in that family since they were painted.The sitters are Major James Osgood and Eliza L Osgood of Fryburg, Maine.Bewsters name and the sitters names are in pencil on the stretchers.Image sizes are 25 X 30 inches.Original untouched condition with some minor scrapes and tears mainly to Eliza.
