Elastolin or Similar - Maschinengewehr Schtzengraben mit Unterstande - [Machine Gun Trench with Parapet], circa 1938, comprising: "U" shaped Trench Section with 2 x M.G. Firing Positions & Field Defences [Wire on Posts] to the front. Constructed from wood & cardboard covered with sculpted composite material & painted in a green/brown scheme [modelled on examples from WW1]. The Position houses a detachment of 5 x "Maschinengewehr Truppen" [M.G. Troops] figures - bases marked "ELASTOLIN Germany" or LINEOL Germany". Some minor age wear otherwise Excellent overall.
