SIGNED GILLES VILLENEUVE FERRARI 312T4 FRONT WING

Damaged aluminium front wing, signed: G.VILLENEUVE 25/30-11-1979 LE CASTELLET and also marked: ROTTO IN PROVA DA GILLES VILLENEUVE, with central enamel Ferrari badge, Agip and Michelin decals, central mounting point, 147 by 35.5 by 14 cm. Good condition, except for accident damage: RH end plate crumpled into the wing, also with a 13 cm. gash through the left hand side of the wing, marker pen script now faded.

Gilles Villeneuve never stopped trying, a trait that endeared him to his mechanics. It was they that inscribed the wing after his slight mishap in testing. Mauro Forghieri later presented it as a souvenir to Jacques Swaters who was present at the time

Ala anteriore in allumino danneggiata, CON LE SCRITTE "G. Villeneuve 25/30-11-1979 LE CASTELLET" e 'rotto in prova da Gilles Villeneuve', stemma smaltato Ferrari al centro e decalcomanie Agip e Michelin sulla parte superiore, punto centrale di fissaggio, dimensioni di 147x35.5x14 cm. Buone condizioni, ad eccezione del danno provocato dall'incidente: l'estrimita destra è accartocciata verso l'interno e uno squarcio di 13cm è visibilie sul lato sinistro; scritte a penna un pò scolorite.
