RUN OF SIX 1950s LE MANS 24-HOUR RACE POSTERS

1954 by Geo Ham, 58.5 by 40 cm.; 1955 by Geo Ham, 57 by 38 cm.; 1956 by Geo Ham, 59 by 39.5 cm.; 1957 by Jeudon, mounted on canvas, 39 by 29.5 cm.; 1958 by Beligond, 38.5 by 28.5 cm.; 1959 by Beligond, mounted on canvas, 55 by 40 cm.; together with a poster produced by the French department for tourism featuring a large colour photograph of the start of the 1959 Le Mans 24-hour race, 60 by 40 cm. (7) Ranging from good to fine overall condition, with minor creases and tears in the 1955 poster.

1954: good - four small tears, two pinholes, some creasing to bottom, one fold as issued.
1955: reasonable - two small holes, several tears and creases, two folds as issued.
1956: good - one small tear, two three slight creases, one fold as issued.
1957: good - small losses to three corners.
1958: fine - no folds.
1959: very good, with repairs to all four corners.
Last: fine - very slight crinkling, no folds.
