An original engine test bench and dynamometer purchased by Garage Francorchamps from Ferrari in 1953 and subsequently used for a further 30 years, now restored, 320 by 130 by 150 cm high. Seemingly complete and ready to run.
This bench would have been used to test the original Ferrari tipo125 V12 engines designed by Gioachino Columbo. In those early years it really was an essential piece of equipment, as victorious Ferrari racing cars frequently had to be sold off to ensure that the factory workforce could be paid on time.
