Carved wooden elk set in a base resembling a snow drift and flecked with gold mica. Original paint and glass eyes. Signed on the base "Byron Smith, Ohio". Smith was born in 1885 and lived to the age of 94, spending his whole life in Mahoning County, Ohio. 11 1/2"l. 9 1/2"h. Ex Gene and Linda Kangas.
