Oil on canvas of a grey haired man wearing a US badge. Identified on the back as "Ranger W. K. Foster". Foster was one of the original 107 territorial Arizona rangers, beginning his service in 1903. He was buried in Pima Cemetery at Tucson, Arizona. A photo of him on patrol appeared in the Time Life Book The Gunfighters, pg. 99. 24"h. 20"w. Gilt frame. 31"h. 27"w.
