Aquatint and engraving on paper, with handcoloring. Engraved by Charles Vogel after a painting by Karl Bodmer (Swiss, 1809-1893), from "Travels in the Interior of North America in the Years 1832 to 1834", published by Ackerman and Company, London, 1839-1843, plate 31, with Bodmer stamp. Minor spotting, crease in upper left, trimmed outside the plate. Ex W. Graham Arader III. 17"h. 23 3/8"w. (sheet), matted and framed, 29 1/4"h. 35"w.
