Large Cowan strawberry jar with matching underplate in April Green glaze. Made circa 1930. Jar is marked SJ-3 in black crayon and with a circular impressed Cowan mark (Saloff #8). The plate is faintly marked COWAN. Couple of small glaze nicks to jar. 11 1/2" tall by 11" wide.
