Very interesting and possibly significant 1/6 plate tintype showing a large-bore Rodman Gun with a boy, girl and young African American woman sitting next to it. Both the production process and finished product that Thomas Jefferson Rodman created were paramount to development of artillery warfare during the Civil War.
