DESCRIPTION: Set of ten soft paste handleless cups and saucers. Handpainted polychrome flowers and leaves with pink lustre vines and trim. Unmarked except for artist numbers under saucers. 19th century. MEASUREMENTS: Cups 2-1/2" high x 3-5/8" wide at rim. Saucers 5-3/8" wide. CONDITION: Minor lustre wear to rims. Saucers with very minor crazing, some leaves with glaze flakes, one saucer with 1/4" chip to base edge. Most cups with very minor crazing. One cup with 1-1/4" darkened hairline, another with inherent X-shaped firing hairline interior bottom, and two with slightly darkened interior ring-shaped crazing.
