DESCRIPTION: Staffordshire blue transfer teapot. Overall floral decoration with baskets to each side panel. Stippled ground. Chain border. Marked "Stone China" in blue cartouche under base with impressed "19". 19th century. MEASUREMENTS: 11-1/2" long handle to spout x 7" high. CONDITION: Minor crazing most noticeable to interior with 2-1/2" hairline. 1/2" chip to side edge. Spout with 1/2", 1/4" and 1/8" flat chips. Inner rim with small flakes and fleabites. Lid with 2-3/4" hairline and two 1/8" inner rim chips.
