18th Century German Silver Two Handled Bowl

DESCRIPTION: A silver two handled bowl. Paneled swirl sides surmounted by engraved decoration of birds, animals, insects and flora. Applied acanthus handles. Footed base. Marked under base with Tremolierstrich (assayer's mark) and unidentified city and maker's marks. Believed to be German, late 18th century. MEASUREMENTS: 7-3/8" diameter without handles. Approx. 17.499 troy ounces. CONDITION: A few minor rim dings.
