"1901 New England Strength Machine". This penny arcade machine is extremely rare with less than a handful known to exist. It was produced by the New England Manufacturing Company circa 1901 hence its' moniker. It operates on a penny and measures the users' ability to twist its handles against a heavy spring tension. The resulting force is displayed on its' dial thereby indicating the users' relative strength. It is artfully made of ornately figured, nickel-plated cast iron. Condition (EXCELLENT).
