Condition: brown spotting, ink writing to verso, usual folds. a sardonic commentary on the social realist writer by the exiled humorist with reference to Gorky's periodical Beseda [Conversation]. Chorny criticizes the Seagull of the Proletarian Revolution (as Gorky was known) for his failure to speak out against the Soviet executioners in his magazine.
