During 1920, Annenkov drew a series of erotic drawings and watercolors including this famous study of a young woman at her toilet with her right breast exposed. It was published in Portrety [Portraits] (Petersburg: "Petropolis," 1922), p 99. The woman's initials "O. K." are embroidered on her stocking.Images
