American Aesthetic Period Moulded Gesso & Turned Wooden Picture Frame with gilded finish and original surface. The frame houses the hand accented photo portrait of a woman. The portrait is almost completely worked in charcoal and pencil. It is marked "Mundy Photo" ? at lower left. Minor loss to gesso beads at the bottom of the frame. Made ca. 1865.
