Exceptional (Komai) Brass & Iron Box

Box is of exceptional quality. Two part box, inlaid with gold on top and sides. Komai is the process by which they used to inlay on to iron. Depicting village scene with mountain in background, and man with rickshaw. Front and back sides depicting trees and boats. The inside is etched on the lid and bottom of birds. Signed on the bottom. A wonderful box. Circa 1930. "1.5"H x '4.25"W x 3'D.
