One of the pioneers of Op Art, British artist Bridget Riley's work has achieved renewed importance and has had a major influence on the younger coterie of British painters. Bridget Riley's work is based on repetition of form and color plays on energy, heat, and light, creating rhythmic optical effects. Bridget Riley was awarded the prestigious premio at the Venice Biennale.
