Meltzer, Arthur [American 1893-1989] pencil sketch of a farm field, this work was done as a study for a painting. 12"x8"

This work is signed/initialed, notations read "corn field lavendery brown corn shocks greeny buff" and were meant as a note of what colors he wanted to use for the painting for which this sketch was a study. There are several very small brown specks and slight stains-see photos of the notation and of the initials for examples. Unknown if glued down to another backing- cannot remove from frame.
