Tintype of a Union soldier with bayonet. One-ninth plate, hip-length portrait. The soldier's buttons and insignia are gold tinted. Bayonet is showing well next to his head. One scratch and one small black spot in background. Brass surround; Union case is worn and taped at spine; clasp works. In very good condition.
