Interesting collection of baseball cards ranging from 1933 through 1950, plus several Bowman and Topps non-sports cards from 1949-1951. The vast majority of the cards (20) are from the 1950 Bowman set - all increasingly scarce low number cards, including: Enos Slaughter (#35, x2), Ralph Kiner (#33), Bobby Doerr (#43), Ted Kluszewski (#62, x2), and arguably the most valuable card in the group, Warren Spahn (#19). Other '50 Bowmans in this lot include the following #s: 17,25,29,31,34,36,44(x2),45,60(x2) and 61(x2). All of the Bowman cards listed above have pencil marks on the back, with the exception of Spahn, causing the condition range to fall between FR and GD-VG. Also includes two 1930s HOFer cards: a 1933 Goudey #187 Heinie Manush (FR-GD, with a crease, paper-loss and rounded corners) and a 1934 Diamond Stars 'Rabbit' Maranville (PR-FR, with round corners and a 'bite' out of one corner). The non-sports cards are an interesting bunch: two cards from the 1949 Bowman 'America Salutes the FBI' set (#14 and #30) both with pencil marks, both FR-GD; four cards from the tough 1950 Topps Frank Buck 'Bring Em Back Alive' set (#s 2,27,41,78), ranging from GD to VG; seven cards from the 1950 Bowman 'Wild Man Picture Cards' set (#s 37,39,41,48,55,63,67) mostly FR to VG; finally, eight cards from the 1951 Bowman 'Fight the RED MENACE' series (#s 3,9,10,21,41,43(x2),48) ranging from PR to GD. All in all, a nice starter set for budding vintage card collector.
