Edd Roush and Bill Terry were accomplished National League hitters who flourished during the 'live-ball' era of the 1920s and '30s. Roush actually started his career in the teens, and batted over .300 for 11 straight seasons, mostly with the Cincinnati Reds. Roush and Terry were teammates for a few years in the late '20s when Roush was traded to the New York Giants. Bill Terry would spend his entire 14-year career with the Giants, posting explosive offensive numbers including batting .401 in 1930, the last National Leaguer to hit over .400 (Ted Williams has done so since in the AL). Offered here are two single-signed baseballs by these two HOFers: Roush has signed in blue felt tip on an ONL (Feeney) baseball on the sweet-spot; Terry has signed an ONL (Giamatti) ball on the sweet-spot in brown ink (as 'W.N.(Bill)Terry'). Roush's ball a bit yellowed, while Terry's signature a bit off-center. Both baseballs carry PSA/DNA authentication stickers (E19214 and E19265, respectively). A great pair of hand-signed baseballs by two outstanding hitters who played an important role in shaping the live-ball era.
