1940s-50s NATIONAL LEAGUE STARS SIGNED BASEBALLS

19 single-signed baseballs from free-swinging era of the late 1940s through the '50s. Balls are all modern, either OML Selig or ONL Coleman. The HOFer signed baseballs (with inscriptions in quotes) includes: Ralph Kiner 'HOF 1975', Willie Mays, Robin Roberts (x2, one ball toned w/ 'HOF 76'), Warren Spahn 'HOF 73', Ernie Banks 'HOF 77', Duke Snider 'HOF 80', Monte Irvin 'HOF 73' and Sandy Koufax. Other National Leaguers who have signed balls in this lot: Johnny Sain, Hank Sauer, Johnny Podres (x2), Johnny Logan, Lew Burdette, Roy Smalley Sr, Carl Erskine, Andy Pafko and Don Newcombe. Newcombe's baseball lists his career achievements on the ball's faces (NL MVP 1956, NL ROY 1949, Cy Young 1956).
